My favourite fairy tale is that of The Little Match-Girl, telling the sad story of an orphan child who trades her worthy fire sticks (the warmth of her soul) for bread crusts and illusions. In the end, she dies in the cold, cold snow…
What would have happened if she would've kept the matches to make a huge fire for herself and transform her illusions into inspirational images, to share with others and lighten up their lives? I think she would be honored and loved by everyone around her and she'd live happily ever after…

Enjoy these little sparks of inspiration. May they keep you warm and remind you of your inner source of soul-fire.
Donna Nadia Photography Amersfoort
Donna Nadia is living and working in the city of Amersfoort, The Netherlands. She considers herself a "light worker". Besides photography, wich of course means writing with light, she inspires others to find the light within themselves, through life coaching and healing.
As a photographer, Donna likes to add some magic, mystery or surrealism to her images, because the beauty and essence of life stretches far beyond what our eyes can see… Therefore, she likes to create and capture her own, archetypal miniature worlds. She's also very fond of her iPhone, that brings new and surprising dimensions to the realm of photography and animation.
